Elysia Whisler’s novel-length women’s fiction has received starred reviews from Booklist and an Amazon Editor's Pick for Best of the Month. Since shifting to mystery, she's won The Daphne Du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery and Suspense in both Historical Suspense and as the Overall Winner. She's a finalist for Best Mystery for the 2025 Claymore award and she's had several short stories accepted for publication. She is a member of The Author’s Guild, Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime and International Thriller Writers. Raised in Texas, Italy, Alaska, Mississippi, Nebraska, Hawai'i, Pennsylvania and Virginia, her works are informed by a nomadic life and often focus on women’s strength and struggles. When not writing or reading, she coaches as a CrossFit Level 3 Trainer.
