Elysia Whisler is published in novel-length women's fiction but recently shifted to writing in the mystery and crime genre, where her true heart lies. She’s had two short stories accepted this year for publication and is a 2025 finalist for The Daphne Du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery and Suspense. Her novels have received starred reviews from Booklist and an Amazon Editor's Pick for Best of the Month. She is a member of The Author’s Guild, Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime and International Thriller Writers. Raised in Texas, Italy, Alaska, Mississippi, Nebraska, Hawai'i, Pennsylvania and Virginia, her works are informed by a nomadic life and often focus on women’s strength and struggles. When not writing or reading, she coaches as a CrossFit Level 3 Trainer.
