Elysia Whisler’s novel-length women’s fiction has received starred reviews from Booklist and an Amazon Editor's Pick for Best of the Month. Since shifting to mystery, she’s had three short stories accepted for publication and is a 2025 finalist for The Daphne Du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery and Suspense and the Claymore award—for two separate novels. She is a member of The Author’s Guild, Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime and International Thriller Writers. Raised in Texas, Italy, Alaska, Mississippi, Nebraska, Hawai'i, Pennsylvania and Virginia, her works are informed by a nomadic life and often focus on women’s strength and struggles. When not writing or reading, she coaches as a CrossFit Level 3 Trainer.
